Vi lever i en civilisation och under en tid som förvägrar oss rätten till ett värdigt liv. En civilisation som håller på att ta död på allt liv och levande. En civilisation där folkmord normaliseras, motståndet kriminaliseras, och där den stora majoriteten av planetens befolkning fortsätter att vara jordens fördömda. Låt oss prata om detta och om hur en annan värld skulle kunna göras möjlig.
Houria Bouteldja, Katya Colmenares och Ramón Grosfoguel är tre internationellt erkända dekoloniala, antiimperialistiska aktivister, som engagerar sig där de står, såväl inom som utom akademin. Houria Bouteldja – fransk-algerisk aktivist, författare med fokus på anti-imperialism och antimuslimsk rasism samt grundare av Partie des Indigènes de la République i Frankrike.
Ramón Grosfoguel – puertorikansk aktivist, författare och professor i sociologi på avdelningen för etniska studier på Berkeley University, San Francisco.
Vi kommer att kunna fördjupa oss i hur folkmorden i Palestina, Kongo och Sudan, det brutala förtrycket av urfolk, krigshetsen i Karibien, blockaden och sanktionerna mot bl.a Kuba och Venezuela, extraktivismen och exploateringen av Globala syd, den växande fascismen och antimuslimska rasismen samt klimathotet hänger ihop med en 500-årig dödslogik och våldsam historia av västerländsk kolonialism, rasism, imperialism, patriarkat och kapitalism.

We live in a civilization and in a time that denies us the right to a dignified life. A civilization that is killing all life on earth. A civilization where genocide is normalized, resistance is criminalized, and where the vast majority of the planet's population continues to be “the wretched of the earth”. Let's talk about this and how another world could be made possible.
Houria Bouteldja, Katya Colmenares, and Ramón Grosfoguel are three internationally recognized decolonial, anti-imperialist activists who are committed to their work, both within and outside academia. Their commitment and work focus on highlighting this civilization of death in which we exist and contributing tools and hope to make another world possible, a world that is becoming increasingly necessary. A world that encompasses many worlds.
Katya Colmenares – author, doctor of political philosophy, decolonial Marxist, and liberation philosopher from Mexico.
Houria Bouteldja – French-Algerian activist, author focusing on anti-imperialism and anti-Muslim racism, and founder of the Partie des Indigènes de la République in France.
Ramón Grosfoguel – Puerto Rican activist, author, sociologist and professor at the department of ethnic studies at Berkeley University, USA.
We will be able to delve deeper into the genocides in Palestine, Congo, and Sudan, the brutal oppression of indigenous peoples, the warmongering in the Caribbean, the blockade and sanctions against Cuba and Venezuela, among others, extractivism and the exploitation of the Global South, growing fascism and anti-Muslim racism, and the climate threat are linked to 500 years of death logic and violent history of Western colonialism, racism, imperialism, patriarchy, and capitalism.
