An in-person and virtual offering from ARTISTS HEAL™!Decolonization & Prioritization Foundations is an all-inclusive workshop that will introduce foundational principles, theories, and strategies to decolonize collaborative art-making practices and prioritize the needs of marginalized artists and vulnerable communities. This workshop guides participants to return to their body’s natural state allowing creativity, authenticity, engagement and ultimately healing to surface in the art-making process.
ARTISTS HEAL™ workshops provide support, community, and practical tools to incorporate into your artistic and healing practice. ARTISTS HEAL™ facilitates a space that allows artists to access Self-liberation, vulnerability, and empowerment as we continue to work towards a shift in industry standards and practices.
ARTISTS HEAL™ is thrilled to be offering our next workshop and opportunity to engage in this work with registration open to all!
This workshop is offered on a 3-tier sliding scale rooted in the dismantling of White Supremacy and socio-economic barriers faced by vulnerable communities through wealth distribution. ARTISTS HEAL™ asks that participants choose the tier that feels appropriate for them and has also made sponsorships available for Black and Global Majority/BIPOC folx to attend for FREE per request.
Workshops will be held at The Drake Theatre Lobby (302 S. Hicks St. Philadelphia, PA 19102) on Monday, November 1, 2021, 6-9p and on Zoom Saturday, November 6, 2021, noon-3p.
