Plenty of bands begin at school, and so did Stepford Wives, but not in the conventional way: two ex-students started jamming with a teacher and discovered a mutual love of loud, blunt music. Needing some melody in the madness, they brought in fourth member, Dom, and Stepford Wives were born.
'I Can’t Fight', the bands second single, made Indie Rocks Radio's Top Ten Singles of 2019 and Louder Than War called them 'Ones to watch 2020'.
Highlights of 2020 include signing a development deal with Salford's A1M Records and releasing their 4-track EP. 'All On Me', the lead track from the EP was featured on Sky Sports Soccer AM and is a favourite of their Spotify playlist.
Stepford Wives are looking forward to taking their incredible live show on the road, and we are excited to have them headlining one of the first gigs we can now confidently say should go ahead this year.
