Headliners RUDE FILMS will be joined by Bristol’s audio-visual masters HAAL, Deco’s favourite sibling-based duo, SLAP RASH, and for their first outing into central Manchester CCTV.
RUDE FILMS was born out of a necessity to create, with artistic maturity and knowledge, dedicating time towards honing and refining their sound, scrapping set list after set list along the way.
RUDE FILMS draw upon a dreary, melancholic sound, which they dub as ‘a sonic reflection of their bleak surroundings’.

Echoing and building upon the crunchy, highly dynamic post-rock sounds of the ’90s, as well as industrial, trip-hop and electronica, HAAL is a project wherein the music and visuals are intended to be taken as one complete piece.
Injecting a flair for motorik rhythms and hypnotic riffs whilst utilising DIY pedals and synthesisers, HAAL promises a commanding, immersive show in which the audience is quickly locked into the rules of the band’s world.

Since leaping onto the Manchester underground, SLAP RASH have been turning heads. With their blend of “machine-like blasts of drum work”, roaring bass and vicious live performances they are an unrelenting force with a lot to say.

These youngsters from Stockport may still be honing their craft, but CCTV are already showing great potential. Their set is based in indie-punk and post-punk, padded out with a dash of Nirvana, Fontaines and Pixies. Their energy is both raw and oozing confidence, definitely one to keep an eye on.

This show is going to be popular, the capacity is the same as The Castle so buy early to avoid disappointment.
