It's Family Art Workshop with Angels Gate Cultural Center! Angels Gate offers monthly free art workshops. All are welcome. Art activities for kids and adults, ages 1 to 101!
Join Artist-Teacher Karen Emonts to create a holiday ornament inspired by Milagros, small metal votives popular in many parts of Latin America to petition the saints for a wish, for thanks, or for protection. Using tooling foil, pencil, India ink, and colored markers participants will create a line drawing on paper and transfer the image onto foil. The process results in a unique incised metal ornament for home or to give as a gift!
Meet your teacher in Building A's Gallery and we will walk over to the Rorke Classroom in G together.
All materials are provided. Children must be accompanied by an adult at all times. Pets are not allowed inside our galleries or classrooms.
