Join us for our Christmas Celebration! In lieu of a speaker this month, we will exchange a gift of a favorite Bible verse! Write it out fancy, draw it on a canvas, find it on a keychain, use Canva or AI, etc., and bring it wrapped to exchange. (The point is the verse, not the cost!) Wear a fancy Christmas outfit or crazy sweater and come ready to have some fun! As we look ahead to the Christmas season, our Tapestry sisterhood has an opportunity to give back to our community! I have two 'wishlists' to share with you. Should you choose to participate in gifting these deserving women, please put your name in where you plan to donate, and bring the wrapped and labeled gift to our Christmas Gathering (Dec. 16)
The first list is for our brand-new Courage House! They are almost ready to receive their first guests. There should be 5 girls to start with; it is unknown who they are, so their sizes are also unknown. I put multiples of some items to cover a variety of sizes - matching items would be best!! Our second list is for the ladies at Victory Outreach Recovery Home. Some of these ladies have been helping to provide the dinners for our Tapestry Gatherings and we have had the pleasure of visiting with them during our meetings.
