Our November gathering will feature Chao Tian, a Chinese dulcimer virtuoso, improviser, and scholar-practitioner who reimagines the boundaries between tradition and experimentation. Her signature project From China to Appalachia, created with two-time GRAMMY winners Cathy Fink & Marcy Marxer, bridges Chinese and American folk traditions through intercultural dialogue.
