The Steiner Ranch Trail Committee is resurrecting the monthly guided hikes. This will be a good way for residents to better become acquainted with the trails and branch out to new areas. The trail hikes will be open to all ages and all that we ask is that you come prepared for a ~3-4 mile hike that will probably take 60-90 minutes depending on the pace of the group. We will tailor the hikes based on attendance and group ability.The hikes will occur on the first Saturday of every month at 9am. The meeting place will vary per month:
January, May, September: Meet at John Simpson Park right outside the pool gate.
February, June, October: Meet near the Shell Station/Cups and Cones at Steiner Ranch Boulevard and Quinlan.
March, July, November: Meet at Town Square outside the pool gate.
December: Meet at Bella Mar Community Center at the playground.
All hikers participate at their own risk. Water is a necessity on the trails. Good hiking shoes or boots and appropriate clothing are also required. We will hike in most weather but of course inclement weather may require us to postpone or cancel. We ask that you not leave the group without informing the leader.
We look forward to seeing you on the trails. The first hike will take place on Saturday Oct 5th, 9am at the Cups and Cones parking lot.
