December Season of Giving - Learn to Play RPGs - ATHENS

December is a time of giving and we are giving the opportunity to play in two amazing games! On Saturday, December 7th, Bryce will be hosting two RPG events for you to participate in and he's bringing two popular favorites to the table!
12:00 PM to 4:00 PM: Fabula Ultima (Three Moons and a Spaceship)
Using the ever popular Fabula Ultima system, players will be able to play in a fun scenario that pulls from both the High Fantasy books and Techno Fantasy Atlas books! Three moons dot the sky in our world: one blue, one red, and one green. We used to apparently go there, but the history and technology have been lost to this world. That is, until a spaceship crashes into a local lake and all sorts of weird things start to happen in the local area to the plants and creatures. Can you help fix the landscape and figure out what strange powers this space craft has? This game will take six players.
5:00 to 9:00 PM: Old Gods of Appalachia (Best Leave Them Ghosts Alone)
Using the Cypher System developed by Monte Cook and based on the podcast of the same name, Old Gods of Appalachia is a setting dripping with rich lore and spooky secrets. Attending the funeral of a childhood friend is never an easy thing, but when it’s the funeral of someone you accidentally killed and then brought back to life years ago, well . . . you all have owes, and this one’s about to come due. Can you figure out what is going on in this small town of memories, ghosts, and promises unpaid? WARNING: This adventure will deal with elements such child death, grief, funerals, ghosts, and hauntings. This game will take six players.
If you have any question about either game, please reach out to Bryce and he will be happy to answer your questions. All needed materials, including character sheets, dice, etc. will be provided for the players.

Cost: $5 - Event will have a charge of $5 for pre-registration. This fee will be given back as either a credit or gift card upon check-in to the event with the organizer.
