Whether you’ve newly had an ostomy (ileostomy, colostomy, urostomy, etc.) created, or have had it for years, you and your loved ones/caregivers are welcome to join UPMCs Ostomy Education and Support Group.Meetings will include an educational presentation on ostomy care topics. There will also be certified ostomy nurses present to answer your questions.
All ostomates and/or their caregivers are welcome to attend. It is not required that you had your surgery at UPMC to attend. If you live in the central PA area and have an ostomy you are welcome!
