About this Event
Join us for our December Nature Walk at the Billy Johnson Mountain Lakes Nature Preserve. Led by Anna Corichi, Friends of Princeton Open Space's Director of Natural Resources and Stewardship, we'll observe the great diversity of life at the Preserve and learn more about the work that is being done by our stewardship and trails teams.
Explore the beauty of the late fall season and witness the wonders of nature preparing for winter. During our stroll, we’ll look for signs of beaver activity, observing how these industrious creatures are getting ready for the colder months ahead. Keep your eyes peeled for the unique blooms of witch hazels, persimmons fruiting, and migrating birds such as geese and ducks making their way to warmer climates.
Whether you’re an avid nature lover or just looking for a peaceful escape, this walk promises to be a delightful experience filled with fresh air, beautiful scenery, and engaging conversations about the natural world. Don’t forget to bring your camera!
