Cleveland County Soil and Water Conservation is offering a conservation science series for Cleveland County homeschool students in grades (K- 6). Programs are free of charge and will be held monthly from October-May at Hanna Park in Shelby from 10 to 11 am.December 11, 2024 Session
o A Bit about Trees - What is so special about trees? Why do they look different during different times of the year? How can you tell how old a tree is? Let’s find out the answer to your tree questions! We will make a special surprise to take home as well.
Please note that a Parent/Guardian needs to be present for the entire program. The program is outside, so please be prepared for the weather.
Prior sign-up is required so that we know what materials are needed. You will need to sign up to each program in the series that you are interested in. Program will be limited to the first 20 students. We will start a wait list after that.
