Our Junior Explorers program for December 2025 Long Holiday is now open for booking and registration. The program involves 4 easy to moderate hikes spaced out every two weeks. The venues are easily accessible locations within the larger Nairobi Metropolitan region.Children over 8 years can tackle the course unsupported but younger ones will require some help towards the end of the course. We have put up mechanisms to ensure safety of the young ones during the hikes which are; trained guides in healthy ratio, wardens and rangers in parks where necessary, access to a first aider, and an emergency action plan.
Kereita and Gatamaiyu Forest is an evergreen forest with amazing natural trees, forest paths, water falls and grounds for relaxation, learning and hiking.
