Please join us as we sing, dance, and pray our way into the winter season. We invite you to join the Ithaca Dances of Universal Peace community as we travel the path ahead together, and create a circle where we strengthen, uplift, inspire, and support each other.
Walking meditation and live music from 7:15-7:30pm.
Dances begin at 7:30pm.
In keeping with FUSIT policy, doors will be locked at 7:45pm.
Use the 306 N. Aurora Street entrance. Free parking on the street.
No experience necessary. All are welcome.
Donations appreciated. $10-20 suggested.
We respect and support participants who choose to wear masks
and/or not hold hands. Gathering together to promote peace - within ourselves, in our communities and on Earth - is our intention. If you have any symptoms of illness, even if they are mild, please stay home and take good care of yourself.
The Dances of Universal Peace are an interfaith spiritual practice in motion. Drawing on sacred phrases, songs and poetry from the world's wisdom traditions, the Dances blend live music, chant, and movement into a living experience of unity and peace. The Dances offer us an opportunity to connect with the spiritual essence within ourselves, and recognize it in others. There are no performers or audience; newcomers and experienced dancers create the circle together.
