Monday, December 23rd | Gather at 4:00pm
Location: Holiday Wonder Walk at Coliseum Central | Hampton’s Water Walk Trail
Each December, Hampton’s Water Walk Trail is illuminated for the holidays with a variety of walk-through, family-friendly holiday features with animated displays; large-scale, scenic props; video enhancements; lighted bridges and paths; kid’s activities; food; strolling entertainment; and other surprises along the way. Join in the fun — it’s all free!
To enter, park in the main Coliseum parking lot, go to front doors of the Coliseum, then look to your right about 25-30 feet away and you’ll see lighted tents and a path entrance. From there, the path takes you behind the Coliseum, along the water’s edge, and continues to Freeman Drive, crossing over bridges and winding through the woods, all lit for the holidays. There is no admission fee, all activities are free, and parking is free.
As part of the lighted path, a limited number of Community Trees will also be available for Hampton clubs, businesses, churches, and organizations to decorate.
**Wonder Walk Activities don’t begin until 5pm so we will be STARTING our walk early in hopes to avoid large crowds at the beginning of our walk

Agenda
4:00 PM – Gather – Look for the Dog Walking Club Sign.
Meet and greet fellow dog lovers and their furry friends.
4:10 PM – Trainer Talk: Enrichment = Meeting your dog’s needs
Details: Providing a bunch of toys or a food puzzle is not sufficient enrichment BUT Transforming feeding time into a sensory and problem-solving bonanza is. It is a prime opportunity to fulfill some of your dog’s predatory needs. The more of our dog’s needs we fill, the happier and better adjusted your dogs will be.
Special Guest: Eva Klenner, CCDT I studied and became a CATCH Academy Certified Dog Trainer. I keep up with current events and approaches through seminars. As a native of Germany, I have the opportunity to observe and connect with German trainers to add different concepts and practices to my tool bag. Dog behavior is fascinating and the more we understand our dogs, the better life can be!
4:25 PM – Club Updates
Stay informed about the latest news and upcoming events within the club.
4:30 PM – Let’s Get Moving
Please register so that we can better prepare for your participation. While this is a dog-focused gathering, you are not required to bring a dog to participate. We welcome all attendees, with or without their canine companion.
