Hike starts just south of mile marker MI LP-447.5 at the Boy Scout Cabin in Lowell. Coordinates: 42.951700, -85.334968We will hike north to Flat River Drive SE, just past mile marker MI LP-445. This should give us close to 2.75 miles out and then back for a total of approximately 5.5 miles.
Because this is an out-and-back you have the option to go shorter if you prefer.
