You are invited to the Quarterly Meeting of the Charleston Community Air Monitoring Network (CCAMN)!
Air Quality is an everyday concern affecting our health, our children and our environment. Pollution, an invisible threat, can contribute to respiratory problems, heart disease, and reduced quality of life.
Join us at the Keith Summey Library Community Room A on Wednesday, December 10, 2025 at 6pm to learn more about the Purple Air Residential Monitoring Program and recruitment for the Community Monitoring Advisory Boards.
At the event, we will:
- Share what PurpleAir monitors are and how they work
- Discuss why air monitoring matters in our neighborhood
- Show how you can access and use local air quality data
- Talk about opportunities for residents to get involved
Light refreshments will be provided.
Together, we can use data to make a difference!
The Charleston Community Air Monitoring Network (CCAMN) is a community-based research project designed to improve knowledge of air quality among near port communities and residents across Charleston, South Carolina.
