Angels Gate Cultural Center (AGCC) and the Marine Mammal Care Center (MMCC) are collaborating on monthly Science & Art Workshops!
Every first Saturday of the Month.
Free for all, kids and adults, all ages welcome.
Come learn all about the Marine Mammal Care Facility's work to care for Oceanic Relatives and participate in our Mini Marine Theme Zines and Storytelling workshop!!
In this workshop, each student will create a 6-panel comic based on their favorite marine animal. Participants will be introduced to comics and shown examples of the types they can create. We will also cover how to set up their 6-panel comic mini-zine.
Let's learn about zines and comicbook-style storytelling with the instruction of Artist-Teacher and Syracuse Student Resident Artist, Sanjana Sharma.
You won't want to miss this workshop!
All supplies will be provided for free and everyone is welcome.
Maximum room for 35 people
Please meet us in the classroom at MMCC before 1 PM to claim your reservation.
