About the decarbonisation of aviation, the conference will focus on its four main pillars: continuous performance improvement, sustainable alternative fuels, carbon capture, and ”sobriety”. The crucial development of alternative fuels raises the question of the very high level of electrical energy required.
The other subject of the conference is why and how Europe should acquire autonomous access to space for its astronauts, opening the door to exploration through a comprehensive political commitment.
