WE HAVE SPACE FOR 30 MORTALS - Reserve your seat today.
Inviting all mortals interested in talking about the thing we ALL have in common - our eventual demise. We realize death, dying and end-of-life are tender subjects. Death-Over-Drinks is an opportunity to die-a-logue on topics related to death that most of us are pretty rusty on.
We believe that #deathisalifeskill and what better way to enhance your skills than in community with others interested in the same!
One of the goals of the Pre-Dead Social Club is work toward normalizing conversations around death. Participants all get the same ice-breaker question that gets the DIE-A-LOGUE started as we break out into smaller groups and let the hour unfold.
What to expect?
- You'll meet people in your community that also want to lean into conversations related to death, dying, end-of-life and mortality.
- Individuals come curious and leave with broader perspectives, perhaps some additional resources and tools for conversations with friends and family.
- Please know this is NOT a grief session. If you're searching for support with a recent loss please recognize that isn't a service we are set-up to offer.
What are people saying about "Death-Over-Drinks"?
"Our group conversation was engaging and fun, even though you'd not necessarily think a conversation about end of life could be." ~Marty M., Portsmouth, NH
"I know we are supposed to leave our career at the door, but I work with dead people every day. I had thought the most important conversation to have was with the family as they were making decisions for their loved one's funeral. Now I see that the most important discussions come long before that. It truly hit me so hard this week! I called my mom and dad on the way home from the meeting and it brought up so so many deep conversations that we realized we had never had." ~Hanna G, Dover, NH
"Most of my life, death has been a fear nipping at my heels. Embracing the process of dying and death has given me a new sense of calm. It's a quick journey we are on here, and with death being in all of our future, talking about it helps." - Hope M., S. Berwick, ME
