Podobně jako HIRS Collective na začátku května, i britské duo Death Goals přiveze do Bike Jesus kakofonický a hlučný queercore, který se zabývá tématy queer identity, duševního zdraví a politického aktivismu, přičemž často záměrně překračuje hranice mezi metaforou a realismem, aby akcentoval důležitost sdělení. Od svého založení v roce 2017 vydali několik singlů, dvě alba (The Horrible And The Miserable, Garden Of Dead Flowers), podepsali smlouvu s americkým labelem Prosthetic Records a etablovali se jako jedna z výrazných akvizic UK queercore scény.
Stormo vznikli v roce 2007 v italském regionu Dolomitských Alp ovlivněni hardcore punkem velikánů své rodné země La Quiete a Raein stejně jako kultovními hrdiny osmdesátých a devadesátých let Negazione, Wretched a Indigesti. Kombinují punk, hardcore, crust a screamo, vedle předskakování Converge, Full of Hell nebo La Dispute se v roce 2016 objevili i na Fluff Festu. Teď máte šanci si dát jejich explozivní smršť znovu. Similar to HIRS Collective at the beginning of May, British duo Death Goals, Harry Bailey (guitar, vocals) and George Milner (drums, vocals) will bring cacophonous and very noisy queercore to Bike Jesus. Against the backdrop of post-hardcore, screamo and noise rock, they deal with themes of queer identity, mental health and political activism, often deliberately crossing the lines between metaphor and realism to unmistakably emphasize the importance of the message. Since their formation in 2017, Death Goals have come a long way, releasing several singles, two albums (The Horrible And The Miserable, Garden Of Dead Flowers), signing a contract with the American label Prosthetic Records and establishing themselves as one of the significant acquisitions of the UK queercore scene.
Stormo also released their latest album Endocannibalismo (2023) on the same label as Death Goals. Their new album Tagli/Talee is scheduled for release at the end of March again via Prosthetic Records. Stormo formed in 2007 in the Italian Dolomite Alps region with a deep admiration for hardcore punk giants of their homeland La Quiete and Raein, as well as cult heroes of the 80s and 90s Negazione, Wretched and Indigesti. Combining punk, hardcore, crust and screamo, they have played more than 400 concerts across Europe and the UK, including supporting Converge, Full of Hell and La Dispute. In 2016, they even appeared in our country at the now sadly defunct Fluff Fest. Now is your chance to experience their explosive whirlwind again.
