The death cafe is a safe and non-judgmental space to have open discussions about death and dying while enjoying company, tea, and cake. Its aim is to decrease the stigma around death, creating more death-conscious communities.Death cafes are not support groups or networking events but are a chance to share information and chat about the inevitable subject of death in a place where there is shared interest.
The cafe is facilitated by Teresa O'Brien, End of Life & Death Doula, RGN who is passionate about normalising the conversation about grief and death so that individuals and communities become more resilient and make the most of their lives.
To register please get in touch with Teresa on 086 386 4544.
