About this Event
Mental Health Estrie, Townshippers' Association, and Vent Over Tea welcome you to our first Death Cafe in Lennoxville, an event that welcomes individuals across all ages and walks of life to discuss the too often taboo topic of death in a safe and comfortable environment.
Please note: This is not a grief support group.
Whether you're a young person just beginning to contemplate the end of life or an elder with decades of wisdom to share, everyone is welcome to participate in a meaningful conversation and connect with each other.
Guiding questions will be available to start the discussion, but the conversation’s direction will unfold naturally, shaped by the voices in the room. Our goal is to create a space where we can learn from each other and explore different perspectives on this universal human experience. We'll provide some guiding questions to help get the conversation started, but the direction of the discussion will ultimately be up to the participants.
Expect to meet new people, hear fascinating stories, gain insights into your own relationship with death, and leave with new ideas to reflect on.
We encourage you to bring an open mind, a sense of curiosity, and a willingness to engage in respectful dialogue with people from different backgrounds and generations. So join us for our Death Café, we can't wait to hear your unique perspective - let's explore this taboo topic together!
