Whether you're curious, anxious, or just looking for a different perspective, come sip some tea and engage in meaningful conversations with fellow attendees. There is a hard cut off time for arrival at 18:30 so that we can avoid interruption.
At Death Cafe, people (often strangers) gather to eat cake, drink tea and talk about death. We have a group-directed discussion with no agenda or themes. Our aim is to increase our comfort with conversations about death and connect with others in the community, gaining new perspectives on a topic that is often considered taboo.
Everyone is welcome. We facilitate a space to support people to feel safe, share their thoughts, feelings, listen and ask questions about death.
