Death Cafe is a gathering where people discuss death and dying in a safe, open, and confidential setting, aiming to normalize conversations and reduce fear around the topic. It's not grief counseling or a support group, but a chance for strangers to share personal experiences, fears, and perspectives on mortality.This is a FREE and PUBLIC event hosted by Hoover and Wolgamott with no political or religious agendas. While these topics may come up in context of personal stories, there will only be respectful and sympathetic discussion involved.
Join us to engage in healthy conversations with other community members about the taboo subjects of death and dying. These conversations help us reduce the negative impacts of the taboo, and help us create a more meaningful existence for ourselves and our community.
