At a Death Café, people - often strangers - gather to drink tea, enjoy snacks, and discuss death. The July and August cafes will be held at Merrill Gardens at Sheldon Park Senior Living. Check back for dates and times for future cafes!Death Cafés, held around the world, are group-directed discussions of death with no agenda, objectives or themes. It's a safe space to share your understanding, thoughts, dreams and fears of death to help you make the most of living.
A Death Café is a discussion group rather than a grief support or counseling session. If you are interested in grief support of bereavement care, please visit cascadehealth.org/hospice/grief-support.
