Death Cafe's are part of a global non-profit movement to drink tea (or coffee), eat cake and have meaningful conversations about death.We meet once a month for a couple of hours to talk about life, death and grief. And whilst it's not a bereavement support group or therapy group per se, this is a safe space where we can share our thoughts and ask important questions about what it means to live and die.
There is no formal structure to the meeting – or any agenda – let’s see where this time and space takes us.
Death is coming for us all, and I truly believe that by talking about it, we can learn to live better.
We will be using the snug at The Church Inn so we will be able to speak freely and with privacy. It is free to come along and refreshments will be available to purchase individually on the day.
