Necrotic Flesh is a death metal band from Kelheim, Bavaria, founded in 2001 .The trio quickly carved out a reputation for their uncompromising old-school sound — brutal, raw, and rooted in the traditions of the early 1990s.
Their debut album, Postmortem Pleasures (2005), originally intended as a demo, caught the attention of MDD Records, who released it officially. Produced by Andy Fritsch at Cold-Sound Studio, the album showcased a sound steeped in the grim essence of early U.S. death metal.
The follow-up, Gore Gourmet (2007), refined that approach with darker atmospheres, crushing riffs, and a distinctly old-school aggression reminiscent of Obituary, Pungent Stench, and Six Feet Under.
