Now, we bring you an uproarious comedy, "Dearly Departed", that examines that event that awaits all of us... eventually.
This play follows a beleaguered family that proves that living and dying in the South are seldom tidy, but always hilarious. Despite their earnest efforts to pull themselves together for their father’s funeral, mounting bills, bouts of excessive eating, and suspected infidelity keep bringing laughs to the solemn occasion. One character finally says to his wife, “When I die, don’t tell nobody. Just bury me in the backyard and tell everybody I left you!” If you've ever gotten the giggles at a sensitive time, this show is for you!
