About this Event
In the church, the wisdom of God is made manifest in the folly of the gospel. Somehow God puts his goodness and glory on display through the weak, the foolish, and the broken. That is especially true in multiracial ministry, where the Spirit works alongside the jagged edges of mistrust, racism, and injustice. Dr. Drew Thompson, Pastor of Union City Church, will offer his own church as a case study of God's wisdom through human folly, asking how the theological wonders of the gospel of Christ shine through the mess of racial reconciliation in a local church.
The Dean's Forum discussion is free and is open to the public. RSVP is required for those who are planning to attend in person. NO RSVP NEEDED IF YOU PLAN TO WATCH ONLINE. Lunch will be provided to those who will be attending in person.
Registration closes on Wednesday, September 10.
The Dean's Forum is hosted by the Academic Dean's office. The event will take place in Alumni Hall in Kerr Building at the Hamilton campus of Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary. It will be streamed live through Facebook and at www.gcts.edu/live.
