Experience free outdoor candlelit concerts with original artists as part of Open Air at the Square.Descended from the Gugu Yalanji and Birrigubba people, as well as the Matabele of Zimbabwe, Dean Brady is one of Australia’s most exciting new voices in contemporary R&B.
His debut album, Dean’s Home, was released in October 2025, and is warm, groove-soaked reflection on love, memory and identity, stitched together by the rising star’s unmistakable voice and soulful instincts. With a sound that nods to the Motown greats he grew up idolising, Brady carves out a fresh, future-facing space in Australian R&B that is all his own.
Bring a picnic blanket and rally your friends to enjoy a very special
evening of original live music – free, all-ages and by candlelight.
All performances will be AUSLAN interpreted, and an accessible viewing area will be available.
We expect this concert series to be popular, so you are advised to arrive early to avoid disappointment.
Presented by Fed Square with support from Fever, as part of Open Air at the Square.
