On April 15th, come to the Nona Jean Hulsey Gallery to experience Dean Bloodgood: 70 Years of Painting. Click on the ticket link to reserve a slot within the hour you plan to attend. The exhibit celebrates the accomplishments of Oklahoma artist and educator Dean Bloodgood, whose evolving artistic career spans over seven decades. Working in a variety of media, Bloodgood is a true painter’s painter—an artist who explores and returns to various motifs and themes over the course of his career, displaying the breadth, progression, and evolution of his oeuvre.
In addition to the exhibit, you’ll be able to see Zach Zecha’s art in the halls of the Norick Art Center. Zach’s work focuses on using found materials that offer a history of labor from every individual that has touched them.
When attending the event, please adhere to Oklahoma City University’s masking policy:
Masks or face cloth coverings (must cover, at a minimum, nose and mouth) are required to be worn in shared spaces in campus buildings, including classrooms, labs, and other in-person instructional settings, and when moving throughout offices, hallways, restrooms, and common areas. Masks or cloth face coverings are required in outdoor spaces any time social distancing of at least 6 feet is not possible, including on sidewalks and other outdoor spaces. Masks may be removed for eating and drinking while observing social distancing protocols.
