About this Event
Deaf Connect is running a research project with Deaf Seniors.
We are holding small group discussions to listen to Deaf Seniors and learn from their experiences.
This session is a chance to:
- Share your experiences as a Deaf Senior
- Talk about services you use now
- Talk about what works well and what does not
- Share ideas about what could be better in the future
Your feedback will help Deaf Connect understand what Deaf Seniors need and how services can improve.
Family members and professionals who work with Deaf Seniors are welcome. Refreshments will be provided.
What will happen on the day
- The session will be a group discussion, not a presentation
- It will be led in Auslan. If you have any access needs like an interpreter, please contact us.
- Staff will ask simple questions to guide the conversation
- You can share as much or as little as you like
- There are no right or wrong answers
The session will be relaxed, respectful, and focused on listening.
