About this Event
Deaf and their Hearing Families Tours for Journey to Judea® (With American Sign Language and voice interpretation)
More than an outdoor nativity, your tour begins in the time of Moses and ends at the empty tomb, connecting it all to the coming of Christ.
Journey to Judea® is an interactive Christmas experience that allows you to walk through the narrative of the Bible, learning the twists and turns that lead us to the birth of Christ and reveal the true significance of His coming. The birth of Christ is more than a historical event: it has crucial relevance for every man, woman and child.
This event includes a cast of nearly 100 people, live animals, narration, live action, and music. Groups of 30 people will be guided through an hour-long outdoor tour of different scenes spread across twenty acres of land, literally walking through the story of the Bible.
DEAF INFORMATION
This tour is for both the deaf people and their hearing family.
You will begin indoors with a 30 minute deaf storyteller who will explain the tour in American Sign Language (a voice interpreter will be provided), then you will join a 60 minute outdoor tour where scenes are spoken and interpreted in American Sign Language. Your hearing friends and family are welcome, but they may skip the storytelling portion.
Motorized wheelchairs or scooters are not allowed on the trail. If you or someone in your group cannot walk the tour, choose a Golf Cart ticket for that person. Make sure you choose the same date and time for the Golf Cart and Walking tickets.
Please reserve a ticket for everyone in your group, except for babies who will be carried. No pets allowed.
