On Friday, we have after-hour access to the Historic Adams House. Built by Harris and Anna Franklin in 1892, William Emery (W.E.) Adams purchased the home in 1920, and tragedy struck in 1925. William lost his family. Life’s faith made him cross paths with a young woman named Mary. Their courtship apparently was considered scandalous at the time, yet Mary honored his wishes of preserving history throughout her life until 1993. Today, the Adams House is under the direction of Deadwood History, Inc. and legend has it that William is making sure history is being preserved.
Broken Boot Mine and Adams House - Friday Haunted history Trolley ride from Adams house to Broken Boot
Claimed to be the most haunted hotel, the building is an 1898-Victorian and served as brothel, bar and gambling hall and was located in the heart of the redlight (Bad Lands) district on lower Main Street. Despite the owner’s willingness to restore the upper building back to its former glory, resident spirits seem to object although in good spirits as previous owner Ron attested.
The Fairmont will make the hair on your neck stand up, the manager has said guest expereince horrible smells, being scratched, sick to your stomach and even guest being pushed! Are you brave enough to handle what lies in the basement of the Fairmount Hotel? As seen on Ghost Adventures and Dead Files, BUT NOW you can see what they have seen.
The Brothel Deadwood - Saturday
Experience the 104-year history of prostitution in Deadwood after hours. The brothel is located at 610 Main Street. The building originates back to 1903 and was operated until May 21, 1980, when it was raided! And closed for good.
Al Swearingen and his “Gem Theatre” establishment may be better known, but it didn’t survive. Many more madams ran cat houses in and around Deadwood and including Madam Dora DuFran, Mert O’Hara, and Gertrude Bell.
PLEASE READ: The Trolley leaves every hour on hour from brothel and Adams House.

He is buried just outside Deadwood, with a marker off Hwy 85 on the way to Spearfish. And so many children. As far as children. In all my events the kids are always polite, fun, and knowledgeable. Some even bring alot of their own equipment. Unless you the parent isn't sure and unless we project fear upon them, children tend to have the best attitiude toward exploring the unknown. If you think they'll be disruptive, that is not our experienceand we bet you won't even notice them. Btw, children always need to be under the adult's supervision.
Past Guests: If you want to save on Fees you can Zelle or Payment plan - If you need help and want to reserve your spot text Marie 818-974-6852, we can do 3 payments to help.
Repeat Attendees/Returnees to Events by Marie Mason – use the discount code which was emailed.
Tickets are NON REFUNDABLE - Our experience is that attendees of Marie’s event are making the event a destination trip or vacation, even. Thus, we discourage a buy now return later attitude to be fair to all who plan on time off work, reserve accommodations, or trick out a South Dakota exploration trip plan. However, we are no strangers to life, in a sudden case of an emergency please contact us.
**Event Logistics will be emailed**
Check-in/Registration - we will email specific details before the event and post here, too.
Every night we investigate two different Historical Locations for a total time of at least 90 minutes to 2 hours and all with all the lastest equipment. Note, the schedule is still being updated, and we may add more bonuses.

Frequently Asked Questions:
Are paranormal investigators and/or YouTubers welcome?
Absolutely, come and experience! The only limitation is NO LIVE STREAMING DURING THE EVENTS. If you are a paranormal investigator, let us know, we may have a private room or location available for you. Email us beforehand and remind us at check-in.
Remember thi Weekend Pass is Steal! Six historical Deadwood buildings, over 3 full days of fun with real Ghosts Hunters with a proven track record over 83 shows .
In addition This is A real Paranormal Investigation completely different than a ghost tour. You will hold the camera and spirit box and you get to ask the questions... this weekend pass boils downtown $66 a day
What does the Paranormal Weekend Pass include?
We want for you to get the most enjoyment out of the weekend pass. We structure the program such that each day of the weekend contains distinct highlights. The weekend pass allows you to select the most optimal times for you each day when you checkin. For instance, you may opt for the twilight event on Thursday, the 9 PM event on Friday and finish with 730 PM event on Saturday. Options are plentiful, make it your own.
Does the event include much or strenuous walking?
The walking during the event will be limited. However, changing locations may involve travel by your car or on foot, your choice.
Does the event include climbing stairs or walking on uneven grounds?
Yes, not much but we will be in historic buildings which have uneven, warped floors, irregular stairs and potential tripping hazards. We strive to make this a safe and pleasurable experience but will unfortunately not be able to accommodate walkers or wheelchairs. If unsure of your footing, make sure to bring a safety buddy. We do have stairs (23) to get to the Brothel (on the second floor), and there are stairs to the 2nd floor of the Adams House.
Will other buildings be open?
Possibly. Deadwood building owners are in-tune with the paranormal and may offer tours for a fee. Do your research beforehand.
Can I bring my kid(s)?
Yes, you can. We suggest starting with the twilight tours. This allows a gentle introduction to communicating with the past. Remember kids typically have more empathy and may find situations scarier than we perceive. You know your child; you be the judge. We kindly request, though, that you are with your child at all times. Old buildings have many unknown hazards and we’d like nothing more than that everyone stays safe.
Is there medical nearby in case of emergency?
Deadwood is a small town and has a hospital and clinic in Deadwood. Emergency services are available. Please come informed and prepared if this is a consideration.
