Deadheading your roses after their first spring flush is crucial to encouraging more blooms/flushes throughout the growing season. And now is the time to do the annual hard prune on your one-time bloomers/climbers. This is a hands-on learning workshop in our rose garden so bring your clippers and we'll show you how to lightly prune/shape for summer growth. We'll also discuss what type of fertilizer to use.
Please bring your garden shears/pruners, gloves, sturdy shoes, water canteen, sun protection, and a notebook to write down advice and tips for summer garden maintenance.
