Our World Goth Day celebration continues with a very special concert at Healer on Sunday May 18! We are excited to bring Diavol Strâin all the way from Chile to the Dead Souls stage! Joining them will be Lexington-based deathrock band Yellow Wallpaper making their return! Diavol Strâin is a Riot Dark Wave duo from Valparaíso, Chile formed in 2015 by Ignacia Strâin and Lau M, blends classic 80’s Dark Wave, Post Punk, and Riot Grrrl. Their KEXP radio performance and shows with Placebo, Lebanon Hanover, and Cold Cave highlight their talent. With nine tours across Chile, the USA, Europe, and LATAM, they’re promoting their EP “Vípera Mortis” and preparing shows in Brazil, the USA, and Europe, including debuts at Wave Gothic Treffen, Wave Fest, and World Goth Day Fest
Yellow Wallpaper is a spooky deathrock/punk act from Lexington, KY who have performed for Dead Souls twice and killed it both times! We are excited to have them back again!
