DEAD PIANISTS - LIVE!Jazz Sampler Recital

This is the first in a new series of pianola recitals as part of the "Dead Pianists LIVE Project". We will be playing a cross section of the genre repertoire as an introduction to the pianola and to the solo instrumentals recorded during its heyday.
Future recitals feature solo performances of James P. Johnson, Jelly Roll Morton, Fats Waller.
Real acoustic piano, real performances from period artifact recordings from rolls.
