Lewisville Police Department is coordinating with LISD CHOICES to provide citizens and businesses a safe way to dispose of expired, unused, unsafe, unneeded medication. Instead of adding dangerous medications to the street for resale, the landfill or the water supply, simply and safely drop them off at the Lewisville High School on Saturday, April 26, 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. NO SYRINGES, SHARP OBJECTS OR INHALERS WILL BE ACCEPTED.
Volunteers and police officers will be present to accept, secure and deliver the medications to the DEA for proper disposal.
