Don’t miss this unforgettable season finale with Imani Winds, the trailblazing, twice GRAMMY nominated ensemble that has revolutionized the wind quintet landscape for over 20 years. Renowned for their dynamic playing, adventurous programming, and imaginative collaborations, Imani Winds captivates audiences across the classical and jazz worlds, showcasing both timeless classics and groundbreaking new works. In their highly-anticipated return to Candlelight for the first time since 2007, the ensemble presents “DE MEMORIAS: A Latin Perspective,” a vibrant collection of tunes infused with Latin American spirit, and whose title is taken from the stunning work by celebrated Latina composer Tania León.

Venue directions

From Western Baltimore I-70 or Route 40:

  • From either I-70 or RT-40, take RT-29 South towards Columbia.
  • Take exit 18, Broken Land Parkway, Exit 18.
  • Bear left on the ramp towards Town Center or Mall.
  • Turn left onto Broken Land Parkway.
  • At the first light, turn LEFT onto Hickory Ridge Road.
  • Less than 1 mile down the road, turn right onto Campus Drive to enter Howard Community College.
  • At the third stop sign of Campus Drive, you will see the Horowitz Visual and Performing Arts Center on your right.

From Downtown Baltimore / Interstate 95:

  • Merge onto I-95 S.
  • Take Exit 41A-B, RT. 175 West towards Columbia. RIGHT at the fork in the exit ramp.
  • Follow RT. 175 West for about 5 miles.
  • Once you cross RT. 29 the road becomes Little Patuxent Parkway.
  • Continue on for another 2.5 miles. There are signs pointing towards the college.
  • Turn LEFT at the intersection of Little Patuxent Parkway and Broken Land Parkway.
  • At the first light, turn right onto Hickory Ridge Road.
  • Less than 1 mile down the road, turn right onto Campus Drive to enter Howard Community College.
  • At the third stop sign of Campus Drive, you will see the Horowitz Visual and Performing Arts Center on your right and the West Parking Garage on your left.

From Washington DC / Interstate 95

  • Take 95 North.
  • Exit 38 B towards Columbia RT 32 WEST.
  • Go about 4 miles.
  • Take Exit for Cedar Lane, Turn Right on the exit ramp.
  • Go up Cedar Lane about 2 miles until you reach the intersection of Cedar Lane and Hickory Ridge Road.
  • Turn right onto Hickory Ridge Road.
  • Less than 1 mile down the road, turn left onto Campus Drive to enter Howard Community College.
  • At the third stop sign of Campus Drive, you will see the Horowitz Visual and Performing Arts Center on your right and the West Parking Garage on your left.

From Silver Spring / Route 29:

  • From Rt. 29 North, take Exit 18a-B.
  • Veer Left at the fork in the exit, towards Town Center.
  • Turn left onto Broken Land Parkway.
  • At the first light, turn LEFT onto Hickory Ridge Road.
  • Less than 1 mile down the road, turn right onto Campus Drive to enter Howard Community College.
  • At the third stop sign of Campus Drive, you will see the Horowitz Visual and Performing Arts Center on your right and the West Parking Garage on your left.

Parking

Free parking for Horowitz Center patrons is available in HCC's West Parking Garage, located at the South Entrance to the Horowitz Center. This 750-space garage is the closest parking lot to the Horowitz Center. Horowitz Center patrons are encouraged to arrive 30-40 minutes prior to showtime. This is especially important if you are attending a performance on a weekday when classes are in session.

Reserved Parking for patron with government issued disability parking placards/registration plates is located:

  • On the first level of the West Parking Garage.
  • Along Campus drive on the South side of Horowitz Visual and Performing Arts Center.
  • Behind the Horowitz Visual and Performing Arts Center by the trailer classrooms.
  • In Lot E adjacent to the Rouse Company Foundation building.
  • In Lot A adjacent to Duncan Hall.
  • In Lot K outside Clark Library.


Tickets
ALL SEATS ARE ASSIGNED.

Once you purchase your ticket, Candlelight's office will automatically assign you a seat and send you a separate email with an updated ticket and seating details. If you wish to change your seating, please contact Candlelight's office by phone (410-997-2324) or email ([email protected]).

Students may purchase tickets for $11 dollars online or $10 in-person with the use of a valid ID. If you wish to take advantage of this offer online, please purchase tickets directly through Candlelight's website: candlelightconcerts.org.

ALL SALES ARE FINAL. Artists, programs, and dates are subject to change. Tickets may be exchanged with 48-hour notice, subject to availability. No cash refunds.
