Saturday 15 Nov 2.30-8pm De-escalation and Outreach Skills workshop. At Stillwaters Community House (327 Willis St). Around the country, we've been noticing an increase in hostility towards activists: harassment while postering, threats against protesters, and more. Let's get together for a training on how to de-escalate tense situations, keep each other safe, and bring people in to our mission to create a better world.

🔸 5.30-6.30: potluck dinner
🔸 6.30-8: outreach workshop - learn to make wheatpaste, put up posters, hand out leaflets effectively, and bring the public in to our kaupapa!

Hosted by CLA, but skills and strategies are applicable to any kaupapa - invite your activist friends as well! It's always good to practice and refine our strategies, and we're all constantly learning from each other ❤️
