De Elizabeth writes haunting, romantic books. She is passionate about telling emotionally resonant, dark stories that feature messy main characters and bisexual representation. She is also a journalist specializing in pop culture, mental health, and LGBTQ+ issues. Her Young Adult novel, This Raging Sea, was published by Holiday House in Fall 2025.
Join De Elizabeth as she discusses her debut YA dark fantasy, This Raging Sea, that follows 18-year-old Briar Winters who must untangle the horrifying eldritch secrets of her picture-perfect coastal town in order to save the boy she loves after he disappears from time itself.
De will be in conversation with Brittney Arena, debut author of the adult fantasy A Dance of Lies. Both authors will be signing copies of their books after the event.
