Latinas en Bici is hosting De Ciclista a Lider: Bike Leader Training, a one-day training event designed to recruit and train new Biciescuela instructors and ride leaders. This is your chance to level up your leadership skills, connect with other passionate cyclists, and empower more Latinas to ride with confidence!

? Event Agenda at a Glance:
9:00 AM – Welcome & Breakfast ?☕Start the day with coffee and light breakfast while meeting fellow cycling advocates.
9:30 AM – Icebreaker A fun, interactive activity to get warmed up.
10:15 AM – Workshop 1: Teaching Biciescuela: How to Instruct Beginner Riders ?
- Helping first-time riders gain confidence
- Bike fitting basics and handling fears
- Hands-on teaching techniques
11:30 AM – Break & Snacks ?
12:00 PM – Workshop 2: Ride Leader Training & Group Ride Safety ?
- How to lead inclusive and safe group rides
- Managing different rider levels and emergency situations
- Route planning and traffic safety
1:15 PM – Lunch & Panel Discussion with Current Leaders ?Learn from experienced ride leaders about the joys and challenges of leading.
2:00 PM – Role Assignments & Commitment Pledges ✍️Choose your role as a ride leader or instructor and sign up for upcoming events.
2:30 PM – Closing ?A special thank-you for joining our movement!
