About this Event
DC Public Schools (DCPS) is proud to be the fastest improving urban school district in the country. Our commitment to accelerating that progress is grounded in our five-year strategic plans, which center community voices to guide our vision as a school district.
The Capital Commitment Strategic Plan, first launched in 2012 and refined in 2017, put DCPS at the top of the country in our efforts to become a school system centered around educational equity.
This August, we started a year-long journey to reflect and refine our strategic plan, beginning with our staff voices. This fall we will host an engagement series, including opportunities for students, staff, families, and community members to reflect on our strengths and where we must grow. By early next spring we will share our draft ideas with the public and finalize all strategic plan updates before the end of the school year.
We hope to see you at an upcoming session!
