Your DCHS Band Booster’s are hosting their 1st Annual 🌶️ Chili Cook Off 🧑🍳 to raise money for the DCHS Band!! The proceeds from the Chili Cook Off will go towards supporting the large financial needs of the Band to replace equipment, Marching Show Props, continuing updates to the Equipment Buses or Purchase of New Semi Trailer, Uniform Repairs, travel expenses, Meals for Students during travel for Away Games & Competitions, Salary Expenses for Percussion & Color Guard instructors, and much more! Nov 16th, at Dickson’s Holland Park we will be hosting a Fun Family Event, including our 1st Chili Cook Off! Plans for Corn hole to be setup, Apple Bobbing, Face Painting, possible Bounce house, and of course the Chili Cook Off!!
$20 entry fee per Team (1-4 People)
Set-Up at 1pm
$5 fee to Taste & Judge
If you are interested in being a Chili Cook Off Contestant, Sponsor or Vendor, please fill out the form on our website.
Contestants are responsible for supplying all their own serving utensils and condiments.
Spoons and cups will be provided for tasting.
Each chili submission will be assigned a number.
Open to Public at 3pm
Awards provided will be:
People’s Choice, Kid’s Choice, Band’s Choice
People's/Kid’s Choice Award will be based on public voting.
1st, 2nd, & 3rd place prize winners.
Judging: Chili is judged based on appearance, smell, and taste
Food allergy information must be provided publicly..
Each contestant is responsible for cleaning up the area at the end of the day. There will not be an area for cleaning of dishes.
