DC127 Workshop - Natural Hair Care 101
This workship with Ajia at Thrive Hair Bar is for kinship and foster caregivers who want to learn the basics of hair care for natrually curly, coily, and kinky hair patterns. You will get hands-on practice detangling, shampooing, conditioning, and even learn a basic style.
Ajia has mannequins for us to get hands-on practice. Children 12 and older are welcome to join for this workshop to learn along with us, but no one will be doing their hair during this session.
*This 2 hour workshop is approved by CFSA for the Child Welfare Training Academy and attendees will received a certificate of attendance for licensure credit.
