We’re excited to announce the 2024 date for DC Zinefest is Saturday, October 26th!📍DC Zinefest will be at MLK Jr Memorial Library again this year! We’re so thrilled to be returning to this great space for the second year in a row. This venue includes both indoor and outdoor areas (outdoor tabler spaces are covered, though the rest of the rooftop patio space is uncovered.) There are large sliding doors that will be open to the patio to allow for extra air circulation. The library meets ADA accessibility guidelines. It is very close to both the Metro Center (Blue, Orange, Red, Sliver) and Gallery Place/Chinatown (Green, Yellow, Red) subway stops as well as a variety of bus stops. There is paid parking nearby.
😷 We will continue to promote COVID safety at the Fest, STRONGLY encouraging masking and handing out KN-95 masks to those who need them.
💗 DC Zinefest is a safer space, which means that it is intended to be a welcoming, engaging and supportive environment free of oppressive actions, behaviors, and language. Participants and attendees are asked to consider how their language and behavior impacts others in attendance. Racism, sexism, classism, ableism, homophobia, transphobia, and other forms of discrimination will not be tolerated, in tabling material or at the Fest itself.
