About this Event
If you're a writer navigating the often arduous experience of publishing, this event is for you. The DC Writers' Salon A&A Q&A (agent & author question & answer) series provides writers with opportunities to hear from experienced folks on different facets of the publishing world.
This April, we're featuring local poet and memoirist Chloe Yelena Miller.
Miller is the author of Viable, a lyric memoir poetry collection about miscarriage and postpartum depression, and the poetry chapbook Unrest. She is also co-founder of Brown Bag Lit, a writing community that offers classes, author events, accountability groups and coaching. Chloe holds an MFA in Writing from Sarah Lawrence College and teaches writing at American University and University of Maryland Global Campus.
We'll start with snacks and refreshments, our guest speaker will give a 30 minute talk, then we'll follow that with a Q&A discussion and mingling.

Based in Dupont, the DC Writers' Salon is a studio and community for writers. The Salon helps us make space and time for what we love to do: write. But more than that, it invites us to engage with the otherwise solo, and sometimes grueling, process of writing in a way that's more connected and accountable. Learn more at DCWritersSalon.com.
