If you're a writer navigating the often arduous experience of publishing, this event is for you. The DC Writers' Salon A&A Q&A (agent & author question & answer) series provides writers with opportunities to hear from experienced folks on different facets of the publishing world.
This October, we're featuring Angela Hsieh, illustrator and author!
Angela is a Taiwanese American illustrator and author whose life choices can mostly be explained by her love of goofy animals. Angela is the writer and illustrator of the graphic novel, LU & REN’S GUIDE TO GEOZOOLOGY, which received a starred review in Booklist. She also illustrated the critically acclaimed nonfiction STEM book, ANTARCTICA: THE MELTING CONTINENT. Learn more at Angelahh.
We'll start with snacks and refreshments, our guest speaker will give a 30 minute talk, then we'll follow that with a Q&A discussion and mingling.
