[Note that we'll be at our alternative location, St. Monica and St. James Episcopal Church on Capitol Hill. Because of studio limitations and the way that dislocation affects everything we won't be holding a class, just the jam.]Gather with us on Sundays to explore contact improvisation. Cost is $15. When we're at St. Monica and St. James social hall the whole session is for open jamming, until 5 pm (often with a closing circle around 4:30).
The jam has been happening every Sunday for many years, and all are welcome. All that's necessary is a genuine interest to explore CI and willingness to be mindful of others and yourself. It's a rare opportunity for adults to play together for the sake of play - the game is Contact Improvisation, and the players are people curious about moving cooperatively through shared points of contact.
